The retailer faced a practical and environmental challenge: lengthy printed receipts from promotions and loyalty activity waste paper and slow checkouts, so they needed a reliable email solution to send transactional messages with PDF receipts at scale.

The project was rolled out across all stores, sending about 50,000 email receipts per month with 97% delivery — reducing paper use, speeding up payments, and simplifying receipt management; in some stores paperless receipts now account for over 10% of transactions.
