Case Study: VHV Versicherungen achieves higher mobile conversions and a scalable digital platform with Magnolia CMS

A Magnolia CMS Case Study

Preview of the VHV Versicherungen Case Study

How VHV Versicherungen re-invented its digital insurance ecosystem with Magnolia

VHV Versicherungen, founded in 1919 and headquartered in Hanover, is one of Germany’s leading insurance brokers. Facing low product differentiation, regulatory constraints and shifting customer behavior, VHV created an online sales division in 2014 and set out to relaunch its consumer portal vhv.de in 2015 within nine months to better support brokers and drive digital conversions.

Built with Magnolia and implemented by Neoskop, the relaunch delivered a fully responsive, user-focused interface, a profiling and personalization engine, and a modular, scalable multi-instance architecture that integrates external tools without heavy custom development. The platform launched on time and on budget, significantly increased mobile conversions and sessions, and achieved near‑perfect Google PageSpeed UX performance (~99%).
