A Magnolia CMS Case Study
Hannoversche Lebensversicherung, Germany’s oldest direct insurer, restructured its online offering to give customers a broker-like experience despite being a direct insurer. The challenge was to build a customer-centric, high-performance platform that supports guided advice and contact functions, integrates third‑party systems, and is easy for editors to operate.
Using Magnolia CMS and custom content apps, Hannoversche centralized content and proxy endpoints, added integrated advice features (including the near-human advisor “Melanie”), and streamlined rate and FAQ updates. UX testing showed strong results: clear page structure, a one-step premium calculator, great mobile presentation and users who felt well informed and personally advised, while editors gained a flexible, easy-to-use system for managing multiple sites and integrations.
