How Magnolia turned the lights and action on Vitec Videocom’s multisite e-commerce platform

Vitec Videocom, a global leader in high‑end camera accessories that operates multiple specialist brands (Anton/Bauer, Litepanels, Teradek, Sachtler, etc.), faced inconsistent branding, technology, and e-commerce capabilities across its sites after rapid acquisition-driven growth. The company needed a centrally managed, multi‑language/multi‑currency platform that preserved each brand’s identity while providing standard e‑commerce features (PIM, checkout, search, SEO) and integrating with existing business systems.

Priocept built a multi‑site e‑commerce platform on Magnolia that unified content and product management, implemented PIM with JCR and Apache Solr search, and enabled SEO, cross‑sell/up‑sell and domain‑specific branding. Integrations with Salesforce, Eloqua, ERP/MRP and Shopatron supported pricing, stock, marketing and fulfilment; consolidating hosting, licensing and support has reduced costs while increasing sales and delivering a fast return on investment.
