How cable manufacturer NKT strengthens its brand through a new web presence

NKT, a 100‑year‑old Danish cable manufacturer with about 3,400 employees and a leading role in energy transmission (including offshore wind), needed a representative, modern web presence to strengthen its brand long‑term. To reposition online, NKT used personas and benchmarking to define target groups and requirements before selecting Magnolia CMS and partner Nexum for the relaunch.

Nexum delivered a headless solution—React for the front end and Magnolia as the back end—plus integrations with an image database and a product data model, a new corporate design and mobile‑ready responsive navigation. The relaunched nkt.com now hosts 80 pages, uses Google Data Studio for continuous performance tracking, and earned strong praise from NKT’s marketing leadership for reliably supporting the company’s brand and digital objectives.
