Avis Budget Group, a global vehicle‑rental company operating Avis and Budget (plus acquisitions such as Zipcar and Payless), needed to replace a patchwork of bespoke CMSs with a centralized, international digital presence. The company engaged Xaeus Blue to build a unified, multichannel platform that would reduce IT dependence, support multiple brands and markets, and deliver consistent customer experiences across devices.
Xaeus Blue chose Magnolia for its CMS functionality, APIs, modularity and ease of integration, then migrated tens of thousands of pages and implemented templates, workflows and brand‑specific features. The new Avis and Budget sites (launched 2013–2014) deliver distinct brand experiences, simpler booking and Avis Preferred integration, improved content control and faster time to market — contributing to significantly better commercial performance and planned rollouts to additional markets.
