Alior Bank, a Polish universal bank known for innovation, needed to turn its outdated 2008 website into a user-friendly, mobile-first sales channel. With about 1.7 million monthly visitors (over 20% new), the site struggled with poor mobile display and hard-to-find products, limiting its effectiveness as a digital sales tool.
Working with Efigence and using Magnolia, Alior rebuilt the site with intuitive product pages, semantic search, personalized content, and fast-to-create forms and landing pages that marketing can deploy without IT. The relaunch drove strong results: mobile traffic rose ~46%, online loan sales grew 42%, accounts increased 24%, mortgage loans jumped 188%, organic search traffic up 54%, bounce rate fell from 30% to 10%, and average session duration reached 5:30.
