A Magnolia CMS Case Study
Coop Alleanza 3.0, Italy’s largest consumer cooperative with 419 stores across 12 regions, set out to bring the rich, on‑line product information and personalized services shoppers expect into its physical stores. The challenge was to create a seamless online‑to‑in‑store experience that let members access and update personal data, view location‑specific content and promotions, and increase engagement and loyalty through interactive digital touchpoints.
Working with Square Reply, Coop implemented Magnolia to power a multichannel in‑store network—14 digital totems and printers, an ATM point and a desktop—split between broadcast displays and interactive multi‑touch totems. Customers can browse targeted content, manage loyalty points, update profiles and print e‑coupons, while staff can easily create and personalize content from a central system. The rollout boosted customer engagement and loyalty, gave Coop a unified customer view for targeted offers, refreshed the brand’s digital image and set the stage for continued expansion of in‑store digital services.
