Championing Australia's clean energy industry with Magnolia's help

The Clean Energy Council (CEC) is Australia’s leading non-profit industry body for renewable energy, representing hundreds of businesses and more than 4,000 solar installers. Facing a major rebrand, the CEC needed to migrate several content-heavy sites (corporate, careers and a solar accreditation directory) to Magnolia 5 to support fast, mobile-friendly publishing, easy training for staff and regular updates to installer records.

Working with implementer Ventiv, the CEC used Magnolia’s inheritable components and Standard Templating Kit to relaunch and customize sites, integrated Salesforce with a nightly sync to handle large datasets, and built interactive features (like a Google Maps “Find an installer”) using Spring. The result is an attractive, easy-to-use web presence that staff update daily with minimal training, supports mobile editing, and has driven measurable engagement—more than 400 campaign emails to MPs—while efficiently managing thousands of accreditation records.
