Leading Telecommunications Powerhouse Company, a major telecom provider, faced poor visibility into non-employee access, fragmented contingent and professional services spend, inconsistent hiring and compliance processes, and unmanaged resources. For more than two decades the company has partnered with Magnit and engaged Magnit Managed Service Provider (MSP) for Services Procurement (SOW) and staff augmentation, ultimately adopting Magnit’s Resource Tracking Solution to address these gaps.
Magnit replaced the homegrown tracking system and implemented worker tracking, term limits, onboarding automation, supplier vetting and procurement categorization, bringing non-employee oversight into a centralized program. As a result of Magnit’s MSP, Staff Augmentation and SOW services, the company identified and evaluated 17,000 contractors, onboarded 19 SOW suppliers with visibility to $14M in budgeted SOW, increased diverse spend from 23% to 67%, and achieved $17.7M in cost savings since March 2020, while improving compliance and resource optimization.
