ActionAid, the international organization fighting poverty and malnutrition, wanted to convert more visitors who landed on its long-distance adoption page but did not complete the donation process. Working with magnews, and using its marketing automation integrated with Mentor CRM, the team aimed to turn these “pledges” of support into completed adoptions and improve donor-centered communication.

magnews implemented an automated workflow connected to CRM that alternated touchpoints across website and email, dynamically personalized messages with supporters’ and adopted children’s data, and tracked key events such as promised, revoked, and converted requests. The result was faster monitoring of requests and more effective multichannel communications, helping ActionAid reach supporters at better times and with more relevant content, while improving conversion-focused fundraising efforts.
