Magnetic implemented user-level personalization algorithms, flexible overrides for promotions, and combined on-site and email recommendations (plus retargeting display ads) without third-party integration. The results: a 28% increase in online sales (2010), 30% higher average order value, email open rates doubled and conversions increased 10x, and display retargeting ROAS exceeded 400% (20% higher than other campaigns).
