Pastry Arts Magazine, led by Shawn Wenner, faced the challenge of turning rescued dessert content into a fully monetized, mobile-first digital publication—needing mobile apps, sophisticated customer acquisition and retention tools, and publishing infrastructure. To solve this, Pastry Arts Magazine partnered with MagLoft and used MagLoft’s digital publishing platform, app builds and CRM/sales tools to replicate the successful strategy Wenner had used for his first title.
Using MagLoft’s platform (including Facebook App Integration for app installs, launches and in-app purchase insights), Pastry Arts was able to duplicate its predecessor’s apps and marketing stack and scale rapidly. The results: 12,000 subscribers in five months from scratch, 1,500 paid subscribers in seven months, and today roughly 15,000 subscribers, 50,000 social followers, 125,000 website visitors, ~3,000 monthly podcast listeners and 1,700 Facebook group members—demonstrating the measurable impact of MagLoft’s solution.
