Wairoa District Council, a small New Zealand local authority responsible for about $28m in annual expenditure, was struggling with increasingly complex, manual spreadsheet-based annual and long-term financial planning that created operational risk. To replace that fragile process, the Council engaged MAGIQ Software and implemented the MAGIQ Performance application.

MAGIQ Software’s MAGIQ Performance delivered an automated budgeting, reporting and financial-planning framework used to produce Annual Plans and the 2018–28 Long Term Financial Plan and to support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
