The King’s School, an independent Christian day and boarding school in North Parramatta with around 1,500 students and more than 430 boarders, faced a time- and labour-intensive budgeting process: gathering budget data from 70+ budget holders and manually entering it into spreadsheets was limiting the finance team’s ability to collaborate and analyse. To address this, The King’s School engaged MAGIQ Software and adopted the MAGIQ Performance suite of Strategic Financial Management software.

MAGIQ Software implemented MAGIQ Performance across the school’s core business system, allowing budget holders to enter data directly and to review year‑on‑year figures and transaction-level detail. The change delivered significant improvements in business efficiency and transparency—giving 70+ budget holders greater visibility, ownership and understanding of their budgets, and freeing the finance team to focus on higher-value collaboration and analysis.
