Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Australia’s only public hospital solely dedicated to cancer with 2,500+ staff, had relied on MAGIQ Performance for over 12 years. Over time staff turnover and ad hoc customisations left the system with complex, inconsistent data connectors and maintenance overheads, so Peter Mac engaged MAGIQ Software to refresh and rebuild their MAGIQ Performance installation while preserving existing financial reporting.

MAGIQ Software delivered a complete rebuild of MAGIQ Performance with simplified GL and Payroll data connectors, active-directory permissioned reporting, automated Excel publishing and an organisational scorecard for scheduled distribution. The new single “source of truth” is used by about 250 staff for budgeting, FTE and labour cost planning, variance analysis and automated budget alerts; the refresh improved reporting confidence, automated stakeholder reporting, enabled COVID-related cost tracking and streamlined finance workflows across the organisation.
