Grey District Council, a New Zealand local government body responsible for significant regional services, faced a major planning challenge after migrating to a new finance system: its Annual Plan was still produced using manual spreadsheets and the forthcoming 10‑Year Long Term Plan would be far more complex. To address this need for a consistent, automated planning platform, the Council selected MAGIQ Software and its MAGIQ Performance / MAGIQ Financial Planning solution.

MAGIQ Software implemented the MAGIQ Performance suite (including the MAGIQ Financial Planning application) to deliver an integrated, fully automated financial planning system.
