Smeg, the Italian high-performance domestic appliances manufacturer, used Maginus OMS in its UK subsidiary to improve efficiency across sales, logistics, and fulfilment. As a large B2B distributor selling through multiple channels, Smeg needed better order-to-delivery control, tighter integration between sales and logistics, and improved handling of complex pricing and customer information.
Maginus implemented its OMS to give Smeg better stock visibility, automate complex order configurations, and streamline pricing, warehousing, and reporting. The results included more accurate customer availability information, increased sales flexibility, improved fulfilment processes, and a dramatic rise in picking accuracy to 99.9 per cent, while daily reporting and automated sales intelligence also helped the sales team and management perform more effectively.
