Smeg UK, a long-established appliance brand with a growing range of built-in, freestanding and small domestic products, needed a flexible way to capture sales orders in its new flagship retail store on Regent Street. As one of Maginus’ longest-standing OMS customers, Smeg turned to Maginus for a mobile point-of-sale approach that could support in-store selling across tills and tablets.

Maginus implemented OMS Mobile Services on two Chrome-based tills and four Android tablets, with card payments integrated through SagePay Cloud Payment Solution. The solution helped Smeg capture sales orders efficiently in-store and supported the launch of its first dedicated UK retail store, strengthening the company’s retail operations, though no specific numerical performance gains were provided.
