Maginus Delivers Major ERP Project for DC Thomson, Built on Microsoft Dynamics AX

DC Thomson, one of the UK’s leading publishing houses, needed to bring together finance teams across the Group that were still using multiple disparate accounting and financial management systems. Maginus was engaged to help create a single, centrally managed finance, procurement and project management function using Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Maginus implemented a largely standard Microsoft Dynamics AX deployment, adopting an agile approach and limiting customisation to essential needs in a later phase. The project went live exactly on time in November 2015 and on budget, giving DC Thomson a single consolidated finance platform, improved process consistency, greater efficiency and accuracy, and faster, more cost-effective group reporting.
