ZF Lemförder SA Relies on Magic Software’s Prebuilt Connector for Quick, Reliable SAP ERP Integration

ZF Lemförder SA, a Just-in-Time/Just-in-Sequence auto parts supplier producing parts for 350 cars per day, needed to migrate its local ERP to the corporate SAP ERP while preserving the automated exchange of order and production data that keeps its 24/5 production running smoothly. The challenge was to replicate the existing seamless integration between ERP and the local production system during and after the migration without disrupting operations.

Magic xpi was deployed as the integration hub using its prebuilt SAP ERP connector and simple web services connectivity, allowing fast implementation without deep technical expertise. Order details (bills of material, planned assembly dates, vehicle data) flow from the corporate SAP in Germany to the local production system via Magic xpi, and assembled-part data is sent back to SAP to trigger internal processes—delivering quick, reliable integration and preserving uninterrupted JIT/JIS operations.
