Takatoshi is a Japanese waste-disposal company that handles collection, transportation, treatment and recycling of industrial waste. It faced a slow, error-prone manual process for filling more than 40,000 order manifests per month, which reduced productivity for its 150 drivers and relied on an unreliable, labor-intensive paper archiving system.

Using uniPaaS (now Magic xpa), Takatoshi rapidly developed a mobile solution for Windows Mobile that integrates barcode scanning via Bluetooth to automate manifest management, billing and archiving.
