SoftTrace Adds “Magic” Ingredient to Dairy Manufacturing Software

SoftTrace, a provider of dairy manufacturing software, needed to expand its market reach and deliver greater value to customers by improving ingredients/raw-material tracking and instrument calibration monitoring in laboratory and production environments. To meet these challenges and leverage an existing partnership, SoftTrace looked to a platform that would support mobile workflows—specifically Android tablets—and rapid enhancement of its Dairy Manufacturing suite.

SoftTrace selected the Magic xpa Application Platform for its rapid application-development environment, mobile independence and easy connectivity, enabling quick creation and customization of large-scale distributed applications across platforms. The result was enhanced ingredient and raw-material traceability and tablet-based calibration monitoring, plus flexible remote access and seamless integration with other management systems to better serve dairy customers.
