Mahindra Uses Magic Technology to Automate Business Processes between SAP and Other IT Systems

Mahindra & Mahindra, a US$16.5 billion multinational group operating across automotive, IT, financial services and other industries, needed to automate business processes and streamline data flow between its SAP R/3 system and multiple enterprise applications — including OTM (a cloud BI system), its Automotive Dealer Management System and external trading partners. Their existing integration approach was slow and resource-intensive, limiting visibility of third‑party product information within SAP and constraining operational efficiency.

Mahindra implemented Magic Software’s Magic xpi Integration Platform, using metadata‑based rapid development and certified adapters to connect SAP with cloud and on‑premise systems. The solution automated communications with partners, made third‑party product data accessible in SAP, and enabled faster, lower‑cost integration projects—resulting in improved operational efficiency, higher productivity and better ROI from existing systems.
