Extendas uses Magic Software’s uniPaaS RIA to Develop a Comprehensive Supply Chain Management Application for the Dutch Flower Trade

Extendas, a Netherlands-based independent software vendor and Magic Software Solution Partner, partnered with Van Delft International to build FlowerOffice, a comprehensive supply chain management application for the Dutch flower trade. The challenge was to create an enterprise-class RIA that spans the entire chain—from growers and the FloraHolland exchange to traders, wholesalers and individual florists—providing real-time inventory, pricing and trading capabilities and simplifying order flow across diverse stakeholders.

Extendas built the FlowerOffice Portal on Magic Software’s uniPaaS platform, delivering a web-accessible ERP-centered application with a rich UI, transaction management and real-time updates so florists can view prices and place orders directly. The solution accelerated development and reduced costs, eased migration from legacy systems, improved integration and reliability, and delivered the logistical speed, accuracy and quality needed across the supply chain.
