Sales orders entered in a third-party CRM had to be retyped into Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne by back-office staff, creating duplicated work, data errors and slow customer updates.
Datacolor engaged Forza Consulting to implement the Magic xpi integration platform to connect the CRM and JD Edwards; a week of data mapping automated bidirectional information flow so orders and status updates move seamlessly between systems. The result: single-touch data entry, roughly 50% less manual data entry, fewer duplicates and errors, faster real-time order visibility for sales and customer service, and significant ongoing resource and cost savings.
