Coca-Cola Sorocaba Increases Control Over Production with Integration Project Based on Magic xpi

Sorocaba Refrescos (Coca‑Cola Sorocaba) faced the challenge of automating and gaining tighter control over its industrial production—about 200 million liters annually serving 60 cities—by implementing a PC‑Factory MES and integrating it with an existing SAP ERP system. The company needed real‑time data transfer and faster, more reliable reporting while avoiding the repetitive maintenance burdens common to ABAP and EDI integration models.

Working with partner PPI‑Multitask, Coca‑Cola Sorocaba adopted the Magic xpi Integration Platform, whose certified SAP connector enabled low‑maintenance, high‑performance communication between SAP ERP and the MES. The integration automated real‑time data flows and reporting, improved operational control and decision‑making, and eliminated much of the manual maintenance work while ensuring scalable, reliable system evolution.
