Junior State of America (JSA) Connects Alumni with Magentrix Portal

The Junior State of America (JSA), a nonprofit that has supported more than 500,000 student leaders since 1934, needed to build an Alumni Association and fundraising program but had no central way to engage alumni or collect alumni data. JSA required a portal that would integrate with its existing Salesforce CRM, provide secure login and password recovery, enable creation of portal users from Salesforce, and offer a searchable alumni directory with privacy controls — requirements JSA addressed using the Magentrix portal solution.

Magentrix delivered a customizable portal integrated with Salesforce that met JSA’s bidirectional synchronization, security, user-creation and directory needs, and allowed non-programmers to build and extend the site. The new Magentrix-powered JSA Alumni Association launched within two months and now engages over 8,500 alumni dating back to 1940, supports a quarterly alumni newsletter (JSA Now!) and nationwide events, improving alumni communication and community-building while providing a stable platform for fundraising and outreach.
