Top Employment Services Company, a U.S.-based services organization, worked with Mage Data to protect employee and consultant PII stored in critical PeopleSoft HR and finance systems, along with JD Edwards and other ERP applications. The company also needed complex role-based and designation-based dynamic masking, plus monitoring of user connections and statements against sensitive data.

Mage Data implemented discovery and dynamic data masking across 6 applications using its platform, including iDiscover, iMask, and iMonitor. The solution uncovered more than 1,650 sensitive tables and applied over 80 masking, tokenization, and encryption algorithms across 17 classification and masking methods. The discovery results are now being used in a broader data classification project, and the customer is in discussions for a global implementation.
