CaribEx Worldwide, a freight forwarder, NVOCC and 3PL focused on the Caribbean and Latin America, needed to modernize after growth and new customer requirements exposed limits in their legacy WMS. To meet tighter customer demands and avoid missed revenue opportunities, CaribEx selected Magaya Corporation’s Magaya Supply Chain Solution and Magaya WMS Mobile to upgrade warehouse processes and inventory visibility.

Magaya Corporation implemented the Magaya WMS with handheld scanners, wireless infrastructure support and a Magaya XML API integration that automatically converts customer “receipts” and sales orders into Magaya warehouse receipts with data refreshing every 15 minutes and batch/lot tracking. The deployment improved visibility, reduced human errors, sped up receiving and loading accuracy, enabled the Miami site to handle higher volume, generated measurable ROI and increased business from the integrated customer, with the solution now also rolling out to Greensboro.
