Apex Logistics - Customer Case Study

Apex Logistics, a Los Angeles–based freight forwarder expanding into e-commerce, faced inventory inaccuracies, slow manual receiving, and the need to offer EDI and parcel integrations for online order fulfillment. To support new pick-and-pack services (for example, a customer selling single cans online) and handle peak-season and holiday shipping disruptions, Apex evaluated and selected Magaya Corporation’s warehouse solutions — specifically Magaya WMS and WMS Mobile — to modernize warehouse operations and customer data exchange.

Magaya Corporation implemented Magaya WMS with WMS Mobile barcode scanning, Express Link parcel plug-ins (UPS with FedEx integration planned), and API/EDI capabilities, plus local training and support from Magaya’s Los Angeles office. The result was significantly faster, more accurate receiving and inventory control — Apex reports being “100% certain” their inventory reports are correct, elimination of counting discrepancies, real‑time inventory updates for customers, streamlined pick‑and‑pack and Cargo Release workflows, and easier data export (XML) for customer reporting.
