Miele, a leading German manufacturer of premium household appliances, faced the challenge of increasing sales through ineffective email marketing. Their process was entirely manual, utilizing unorganized spreadsheets and disconnected systems, which prevented them from running targeted or automated campaigns. To overcome this, they partnered with the vendor Maestra to implement its Customer Data Platform (CDP) and marketing automation services.
Maestra’s solution involved cleansing, unifying, and segmenting Miele's customer database to enable personalized communications. This allowed Miele to launch automated trigger campaigns and targeted bulk emails. As a result, Maestra helped Miele increase its revenue from email campaigns by 21.6% within the first eight months of implementation, with email now generating 3.6% of total revenue.
