Mad*Pow partnered with IRMI, a premier authority in risk management and insurance education, to address the challenge of reducing serious injuries and deaths on construction sites. Their research revealed that workers often take small, unrecognized risks, and IRMI sought to change these behaviors through innovative training.

Mad*Pow designed a virtual reality safety training solution based on extensive on-site research and the COM-B behavior change model. The resulting VR module targets psychological factors to correct unconscious influencers, teach deliberate safety planning, and equip workers with automatic safety habits. This solution provides IRMI with an engaging and durable training tool to improve safety behaviors and culture for the long term.
