Fortem, a provider of property solutions managing over 400,000 repairs annually, sought to enhance operational efficiency and deliver cost-effective solutions across its portfolio. They turned to vendor MadeByPi to find a new way to streamline and manage these extensive operations.

MadeByPi designed and developed a new AI-powered app that leverages Microsoft’s LUIS machine learning. The app allows on-site employees to make referrals by describing an issue and taking a photo; the AI then analyzes the inputs to link the issue to the appropriate trade and determine its urgency. Now fully integrated and used nationally, the app syncs with Fortem's central data warehouse, enabling the company to identify trends for preventative maintenance and connect daily activities to capital investment decisions.
