The MECO Group, a provider of marine insurance products, faced challenges with time-consuming manual filing processes for claims correspondence across systems like SharePoint and individual inboxes. To overcome this, they partnered with vendor MacroView to implement a bespoke solution using DMS Pro and custom functionality for email and document management.

MacroView implemented an automated filing solution that integrated directly with Microsoft Outlook, creating a fully searchable system in SharePoint. This custom solution automated the capture of metadata and the filing of emails and documents, saving each claims member an estimated one day of work per week on average. The implementation by MacroView significantly improved filing accuracy and efficiency, allowing the company to handle higher volumes of work.
