MacroFab Eliminates Major Design Bottleneck for Keyless Security Brand

Keyless Security Brand, which supplies keyless entry devices for commercial real estate, parking garages and multifamily properties, was struggling with frequent COVID-driven engineering changes while working with a Taiwanese contract manufacturer. The 14-hour time zone difference and need for on-site oversight caused delays, costly travel, and made real-time collaboration unsustainable, so the company turned to MacroFab’s electronics manufacturing platform and North American manufacturing network.

MacroFab partnered with the company to prototype in U.S. facilities, enable real-time engineering collaboration in similar time zones, and then move volume to a cost-competitive Mexico facility. MacroFab now produces thousands of units of one SKU (with a second SKU ramp planned), eliminated time-zone and language barriers, shortened iteration cycles, reduced production risk, and matched the Taiwanese pricing without forcing large volume commitments.
