ICI Paints, a leading manufacturer of paints and coatings, faced high costs and complexity from its aging dedicated production printer and manual printing processes. Macro 4 implemented its Columbus OM output management software alongside its existing Columbus DW document warehouse system. The solution converted specialized AFP output for use on standard multi-functional printers, enabled automated mailing, and introduced electronic report delivery. This provided ICI Paints with significant cost savings by eliminating the need for a new production printer, reducing manual labor, and lowering paper consumption through online distribution.
