Solvay raises €50,000 for DEI charities with Mach Media

Mach Media partnered with Solvay to support the global chemical company's 2022 Citizen Day, which focused on the strategic priority of Dignity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). The challenge was to generate widespread employee participation across over 100 sites, coordinate meaningful local and global activities, and ensure the event created a measurable positive impact for external communities.

Mach Media devised a comprehensive strategy around the unifying theme of 'ubuntu'. They created promotional materials and toolkits to build awareness and structured a hybrid program of activities at global, site, team, and individual levels. A key solution was a point-based system where employee participation translated into financial donations. The results were significant, with 105 sites and 9,000 employees participating, leading to €50,000 raised for DEI-focused charities.
