The customer, 275 Battery Street, a Class A office tower in San Francisco, sought to achieve its sustainability goals and control rising energy costs. To address this challenge, the property management team led by Rockhill Management began using MACH Energy's Energy Management Software in 2014.

MACH Energy's software provided the building's team with smart analytics, actionable reporting, and real-time monitoring. This solution enabled the 30-floor, LEED Gold certified tower to reduce its energy consumption by over 321,000 kWh, or 5.1%, in 2016 compared to 2015. This significant reduction, achieved despite a 6.4% increase in occupancy, completely offset a utility price increase, resulting in flat annual energy expenses for the building.
