Emids was facing a challenge in radiology where the exponential increase in X-ray images per patient made it difficult for radiologists to keep up with the volume, compromising effective diagnosis. They worked with vendor Macadamian to find a way to manage this data effectively without compromising patient care.

Macadamian collaborated on a project called X-AID to integrate an AI algorithm into the clinical workflow for automated assessment of musculoskeletal X-rays. This was accelerated using Macadamian's HealthConnect platform. The solution significantly improved diagnostic quality, reduced interpretation variation between radiologists, and created faster, more accurate automated reports.
