KeHE Distributors, a Romeoville, Illinois–based food distributor serving more than 30,000 retail customers, operates a 250-vehicle fleet and was seeing increasing unsafe driving behaviors, unreported incidents, and a need to exonerate drivers when they weren’t at fault. The business wanted a long-term, insight-driven safety program to support coaching, training, and liability resolution.

KeHE deployed the Lytx DriveCam® safety program and Fleet Management enhancement, held educational sessions for drivers, and trained managers to coach using recorded events. The program quickly revealed previously unknown incidents, increased seat-belt use, cut down handheld/GPS misuse and coachable events, and provided video evidence that proved liability in collisions—improving overall safety and driver acceptance.
