HATs Group, a leading U.K. specialist transport provider serving the NHS and local authorities, faced rising insurance premiums and limited visibility into on-road risk. Its existing telematics system could not adequately show what was happening during incidents or help improve driver behavior, so the company turned to Lytx for a more advanced fleet safety solution.

Lytx, working with Geotab, deployed GO9 devices and Surfsight AI-12 dash cameras across the fleet to provide real-time video-based telematics, alerts, and coaching. Over an initial four-month trial, HATs Group achieved a 78% reduction in road traffic incidents, a 96% reduction in associated incident costs, and a 74% reduction in seat belt violations at one site, helping improve safety and control costs.
