How Lovepop boosted revenue per email sent by 5% with email personalization

Lovepop wanted to go beyond past-purchase recommendations and use behavioral data from its Shopify site to turn more browsers into buyers through personalized follow-up emails. To improve conversions in its Iterable campaigns, Lovepop turned to Lytics and its Customer Data Platform (CDP) to identify products visitors viewed but did not purchase and recommend more relevant items.

Using a 30-day Lytics trial, the team ran a control-vs.-exposed test across 500,000 customers, integrating Lytics with Shopify and Iterable to deliver personalized recommendations in email and on-site. Lytics helped Lovepop achieve a 2x lift in email engagement, a 14% increase in sales during the trial, and a 5% boost in revenue per email sent, along with 2–3% higher click-through rates.
