Vanderbilt University’s creative team faced a sudden, high-pressure shift when COVID-19 hit: urgent, fast-turnaround communications about social distancing and campus changes took priority, many ongoing projects were paused, and the team had to rapidly transition to working from home while preserving tone and collaboration.
By leveraging inMotion ignite (including its Review + Approval workflow) alongside video calls, the team kept projects moving, pivoted the magazine to a COVID special, produced streamlined print pieces and digital resources, and even created community-focused items like coloring pages. The result was rapid, targeted messaging to students and faculty, a smooth remote transition, preserved creative collaboration and morale, and continued support for campus-wide pivots.
