Big Y Foods Ends Springfield 'Food Desert' With Lytho

Big Y Foods, one of New England’s largest independently owned supermarket chains, needed to launch a new downtown Springfield grocery concept quickly while working with a new creative agency. The challenge was to market the opening of a first-of-its-kind Big Y Express Fresh Market in just six weeks, while keeping creative control and making assets reusable across teams.

Using Lytho, Big Y built the campaign in Lytho Workflow, organized more than 50 projects, and stored approved assets and brand guidance in Lytho DAM for easy access by internal teams and partners. The result was a successful store opening that helped end the Springfield “food desert,” strengthened the brand, and improved collaboration; Big Y said the process was so efficient that it restructured major campaigns to use the same Lytho-based workflow for greater consistency.
