Milo, a US fintech company, wanted to expand its financial products into Latin America, but needed a better understanding of local saving behaviors and cultural differences in markets like Chile, Colombia, and Mexico. To get reliable user insights beyond its small internal network, the team turned to Lyssna’s Interviews feature.
Using Lyssna, Milo recruited targeted participants from the Lyssna panel, screened them by demographics, and ran scenario-based one-on-one interviews in two rounds across multiple countries. The research revealed major cultural differences in how people use savings accounts, helping Milo decide to prioritize Chile first because its habits were more aligned with the product concept; the insights directly shaped its expansion strategy for Latin America.
