Philips Lighting’s Digital Customer Experience and Strategy team faced the challenge of rapidly becoming more digital, customer-centric and agile while improving UX and conversion across sites. To validate design assumptions and persuade stakeholders, Philips turned to Lyssna’s remote usability testing tools, using quick instruments like 5‑second and click tests to pinpoint what users actually understood and how they interacted with key pages.
Lyssna’s tests revealed that a large percentage of visitors didn’t correctly understand a homepage and that less than half of users engaged with the tabs on the “choose-a-bulb” page. Those clear, measurable insights enabled Philips Lighting to make quick content and design changes, to justify further optimization work to stakeholders, and to inform a redesigned bulb-selection page — demonstrating Lyssna’s direct impact on faster, data-driven UX improvements.
