HeliosX, an online pharmacy group operating multiple brands across the UK and USA, needed a better way to run usability testing and user research across diverse customer profiles. When Head of Product Design Andy Blount joined in 2021, the team lacked a structured research process and dedicated tools, making it difficult to gather feedback and design confidently for different medical ecommerce journeys.

HeliosX adopted Lyssna to speed up usability testing, target the right customers, and run card sorting, prototype testing, preference testing, and screeners. With Lyssna, the team could launch tests and get results back in as little as 20 minutes, improving copy clarity, changing CTA terminology from “consultation,” reshaping product category structures, and informing new brand positioning in the US; the tool also helped uncover user confusion and drive better design decisions across the business.
