University of Louisville Hospital - Customer Case Study

University of Louisville Hospital, a 404-bed academic teaching and research hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, had to quickly rebuild its IT infrastructure after leaving a joint operating agreement, with the goal of avoiding any disruption to patient care. The hospital needed an interoperability platform that could support rapid migration of existing interfaces while meeting strict security and disaster recovery requirements. Lyniate’s Rhapsody as a Service was selected to help them move fast without having to invest in new on-premise infrastructure.

Lyniate implemented Rhapsody as a Service in AWS, connecting UoLH via VPN and helping configure accounts, notifications, and network rules so the hospital could reuse existing interface configurations. The solution enabled quick testing and deployment with no service disruption, and UoLH has since used it to send hundreds of millions of messages, migrate 95 interfaces, and build new interfaces for Cerner and other projects.
