Integrated Health Information Systems - Customer Case Study

Integrated Health Information Systems (IHiS), Singapore’s public healthcare IT agency, needed a more robust and cost-effective interoperability platform to support digitalization and real-time data exchange across hospitals, clinics, and national health systems. Before working with Lyniate, IHiS relied on a complex legacy ESB setup with limited scalability, weak out-of-box functionality, difficult customization, and high licensing and maintenance costs. The vendor’s product used was Rhapsody (On-Premises).

Lyniate’s Rhapsody was selected through IHiS’ RFP process and implemented to consolidate and rationalize the existing ESBs. The platform enabled faster deployment, greater resilience, and lower costs, and is now used across 29 public healthcare institutions in Singapore with 1,600 communication points handling 232 unique data types. Lyniate’s solution also positioned IHiS to expand its interoperability strategy and migrate more systems onto Rhapsody as part of its core architecture standard.
